The Sweet Betty Salon Associate Program

At Sweet Betty Salon, we believe exceptional service is built through education, teamwork, and attention to every detail.

Many of our experienced stylists work alongside an Associate Stylist. Associates are licensed cosmetologists participating in our advanced mentorship program under the guidance of one of our senior stylists.

Your mentor stylist leads your service from beginning to end, including your consultation, color plan, and all technical decisions. Working together as a team, your associate may perform portions of your service—including applying color and highlights, glosses, treatments, shampooing, and blow drying. Haircuts are always performed by your mentor stylist.

Why We Call Them Associates

You’ll never hear us use the word assistant at Sweet Betty Salon. That’s intentional.

Our associates are licensed professionals, not assistants. We believe every member of our team plays an important role in creating an exceptional guest experience. In fact, even our most experienced stylists will occasionally step in as an associate for one another when an extra set of hands is needed. It’s simply part of our culture of teamwork.
